Chef Fred Ruiz

Meet Chef Fred Ruiz, the award wining executive chef at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, and the master mind behind Mikado's tempting cuisine.

Since 1986, Chef Ruiz has dazzled guest at some of the Marriott's most prestigious locations; New York, Chicago, Denver and now Puerto Vallarta.

Some of Chef Fred's greatest accomplishments:

He cooked directly for Presidents Nixon, Ford & Reagan. He also did private functions for the late Frank Sinatra along with other famous stars in the Palm Springs area.
In early 2007, he became a Business Council member overseeing all gastronomical updates for Marriott's Mexico, Caribbean and Latin American hotels.
Chef Ruiz was awarded for two years (2004 and 2007) with the Marriott's International Culinary Excellence Award.
